5 startups from Bangladesh participated at SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024 Global Startup Program

SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024 Global Startup Program, Asia's largest global innovation event, began on Wednesday at the BigSight Exhibition Hall in Tokyo, the capital of Japan. 5 startups from Bangladesh participated in the two-day expo representing the innovation ecosystem from Asia to the world.

Anondomela Shop Ltd., Web Soft BD, Chikitsa.XYZ, Digibox Ltd. and Bright Skills showcased their innovative business models and services at ekShop Pavilion, the world's first integrated assisted rural e-commerce platform operated by a2i on this prestigious global stage.

The Bangladesh Pavilion was inaugurated in the morning by Shahabuddin Ahmed, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Japan. After the inauguration, the participants from Bangladesh were Sahab Uddin, the founder of artificial intelligence-based health service application Chikitsa; Monir Hossain on Bright Skills, an initiative to acquire skills and get jobs through e-learning; Sarajita Haque and others on the open e-commerce marketplace Anondomela for small and medium entrepreneurs explained their initiatives.

Economic Minister of Bangladesh Embassy, Syed Nasir Ershad and Second Secretary (Press) Md Imranul Hasan were present at that time. Hassle-free delivery services for receiving e-commerce products with smart lockers Digibox and HealthTech Chikitsa drew quite a lot of attention at the fair.

Sahab Uddin Shipon, e-CAB Senior Vice President and founder of Chikitsa.XYZ, who participated in the fair, said that they are representing Bangladesh with their own products and services to build a sustainable smartup ecosystem through mutual cooperation and innovation to face global challenges. The pavilion has attracted a significant number of visitors and investors since day one. They came to know about our 24/7 AI-powered service to get doctors, medicines and nursing services. The expectation was to partner with various companies and raise investments. We got the expected response on the very first day.

It is reported that apart from showcasing their own ventures on the first day, the participants visited the ventures of others and visited the investor pavilions to talk about Bangladesh's startup culture and investment potential. The conference discussed “Imaginary Cities of the Future”, “Future of Technology” and “Developing Startups”.

Entrepreneurs from 40 cities of the world have appeared in the conference with more than 400 initiatives. In addition to more than 300 VCs, more than 3000 business navigation, about 40 thousand visitors have appeared at this year's SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024 Global Startup Program.
